Hamburg, Germany 7/24/06—Evotec Tools and Technologies, a unit of EvotecAG, has sold “the core” of its single molecule detection technology for cellular applications to Olympus. The portfolio consists of intellectual property utilizing confocal detection methods for single molecule drug discovery and gener-ated 2005 revenues of approximately €2.5 million ($3.2 million). Evotec will continue to market and support single molecule detection systems based on the technology.
