Quantabio Launches Ultra-Sensitive sparQ mRNA-Seq Kit

BEVERLY, Mass. – Quantabio, a leading provider of robust DNA and RNA amplification reagents for the most demanding molecular testing and life science research applications, today announced a new ultra-sensitive sparQ mRNA-Seq Kit, which enables preparation of stranded mRNA-seq libraries for Illumina® NGS platforms. The streamlined workflow captures polyadenylated or poly(A) transcripts, helps reduce hands-on time and allows sample to sequencing in a single day.

The proprietary enzymes included in the sparQ mRNA-Seq Kit allow scientists to prepare high-quality, reliable libraries from as little as 5 ng and up to 1 µg of total RNA input. The libraries consistently demonstrate elevated strand specificity across input levels for downstream gene expression analysis and reproducible transcript profiling across biological replicates for better quantification. The efficient isolation of mRNA enables researchers to detect most coding genes.

“Quantabio continues to add to our portfolio of innovative NGS solutions,” said Heather Meehan, PhD, General Manager of Quantabio. “The speed and sample input versatility of the new sparQ mRNA-Seq Kit makes it ideal for a broad range of gene expression analysis applications, including agrigenomics and drug discovery. Customers can now generate high-quality mRNA libraries with greater consistency and less bias, all for up to 30% less overall cost compared to alternative solutions.”

The sparQ mRNA-Seq Kit is available in 24 and 96-reaction configurations. For more information, please visit: https://www.quantabio.com/product/sparq-mrna-seq-kit/
