Munich, Germany 9/1/16–Gardner Denver, a provider of flow control machinery, has acquired Innovative Labor Systeme (ILS) and Zinsser Analytic (ZA) from Werner Zinsser and Christel Zinsser for an undisclosed amount. ILS suppliers glass syringes for lab equipment manufacturers, lab and consumables distributors. ZA provides customized automated fluid and powder handling systems as well as consumables for the the biochemical, pharmaceutical and diagnostic research markets. “The talented team, technologies and know-how of ILS and ZA are highly complementary to our prior acquisition of TriContinent as we emerge as a leading solutions provider across liquid handling applications,” stated Patrick Bennett, CEO of Gardner Denver´s Medical Group.

The acquisition expands Gardner Denver Medical’s liquid handling component portfolio. Gardner Denver’s Medical Group provides OEM products to the laboratory testing market. Its brands include Thomas, which supplies vacuum pumps and compressors; TriContinent, which offers syringe pumps and liquid handling robots for IVD systems; and Welch, a supplier of vacuum pumps and systems.
