Woburn, MA — Nova Analytics announced that it has acquired a controlling interest in Wissenschaftlich-Technische Werkstätten GmBH & Co. KG WTW) through a direct investment. Earlier this year, the newly formed Nova Analytics purchased Corning’s electrochemistry business (see IBO 4/15/03). Founded in 1945, WTW manufactures and supplies electrochemistry and measurement instruments and water quality analysis instruments. “By acquiring the Corning electrochemistry business line and our subsequent investment in WTW, Nova Analytics has become a significant new force in the electrochemistry market,” commented Nova Analytics President John Kennedy.
