Piscataway, NJ-Amersham Pharmacia Biotech (AP Biotech) has acquired Dan-Process A/S, a subsidiary of Pantax. Dan-Process supplies engineering solutions for the purification of biomolecules, such as peptides and peptides hormones, with a focus on high-pressure process-scale chromatography systems and columns. According to AP Biotech, Dan-Process will maintain its autonomy and brand name and its products will be distributed worldwide by AP Biotech.
