Waltham, MA 4/30/15—PerkinElmer has purchased Torion Technologies, a supplier of portable GC/MS systems for analyzing chemical and biological threats, contaminants and pollutants. The company stated, “This acquisition expands PerkinElmer’s offerings to include dedicated, small-footprint analyzers for laboratory use and mobile systems for field analyses.” The acquisition closed April 30, 2015.
