Warminster, PA 1/16/15—SP Industries, a provider of lab equipment and products, and drug-manufacturing solutions, has acquired Stability Environments for an undisclosed amount. Stability provides walk-in environmental rooms, glassware dryers, chambers and accessory products. SP stated that the purchase is complementary to its concentrator, freeze-dryer and thermal-equipment product lines.

Royston, UK 1/16/15—Blacktrace Holdings has announced the purchase of Swedish firm ChemiSens for an undisclosed amount. ChemiSens provides reaction calorimeters, including the CPA200 Series. The ChemiSens products will be sold and supported by Blacktrace’s Syrris brand. Blacktrace stated that it plans to maintain ChemiSens’ current structure and to continue to work with ChemiSens partners.
